As the dust settles, it looks as though the GOP will approach 250 House seats -- their largest number since the 1920's -- win nine Democrat-held Senate seats, and control nearly two-thirds of all governorships. We thought we'd let you hear from some of the victorious conservatives themselves. Enjoy:

Cory Gardner (CO Senate):

"[Colorado voters] are not red. They are not blue. But they are crystal clear. Crystal clear in their message to Washington, DC: Get your job done, and get the heck out of the way!"

Joni Ernst (IA Senate):

"We are heading to Washington, and we are going to make 'em squeal!"

Scott Walker (WI Governor):

"I'm an optimist. I believed all along that if we got a positive message out, that in the end, people would rather be for something, not against something. And look what happened tonight."

Mia Love (UT-04):

"Naysayers out there said that Utah would never elect a black, Republican, LDS woman to Congress. [Cheers] And guess what? Not only did we do it, we were the first to do it!"
