Sick: Another 'Occupy' Sexual Assault Goes Unreported

A few weeks ago, Kate highlighted a disturbing report that victims of physical and sexual assaults at 'Occupy' rallies were being discouraged from reporting the assaults to police. They were instead urged to refer their criminal complaints to makeshift "security committees." Last week, three men allegedly threatened the life of a fellow Occupy Wall Street protester for having the temerity to report a rape to the NYPD, and international Occupiers were scandalized by an apparent gang rape at a Scotland rally. This distressing trend continues, via yesterday's New York Post:

Wall Street protesters in Zuccotti Park battened down the hatches yesterday as the early October snow turned their tents into igloos, but the close quarters also made easy pickings for one predator. A sex fiend barged into a woman’s tent and sexually assaulted her at around 6 a.m., said protesters, who chased him from the park. “Pervert! Pervert! Get the f--k out!” said vigilante Occupiers, who never bothered to call the cops.

“They were shining flashlights in his face and yelling at him to leave,” said a woman who called herself Leslie, but refused to give her real name. She said that weeks earlier another woman was raped. “We don’t tell anyone,” she said. “We handle it internally. I said too much already.”

Attention rapists: It's open season on women in Zuccotti Park. At worst, you'll be called names and have flashlights shone in your face as you're escorted from the premises. And if someone decides to report your crimes to the actual authorities, your fellow thugs will have your back by threatening to kill the snitch. This is absolutely sick. (How long until Biden blames this on Republicans?) Anyone who continues to seriously compares this lawless mob to the Tea Party is either ignorant or a willful hack.
