Monday:  Laying on the snark even more generously than usual, Maddow latches on to a completely made up story and reports it as evidence of right-wing lunacy.

Tuesday: Maddow, realizing she'd been had, apologizes for being duped ("shame on us"), but blames Glenn Beck and Red State for creating a media culture in which nutty stories are believable enough to fool her and her staff.
