I've been rather critical of Murkowski's decision to

flout the will of her party's voters and to cling to a seat handed to her in an act of pure nepotism.  If she had accepted the GOP primary results, Joe Miller -- a strong conservative -- would have easily won this election.  It's a shame that it's come to this.

That being said, these desperate and seemingly baseless challenges by the Miller campaign indicate that they must be looking at some pretty bleak math.
