WI Senate: Russ Feingold Loses

One of the finest Tea Party candidates in the nation, businessman Ron Johnson, has defeated liberal Senator Russ Feingold -- a huge pick-up for Senate Republicans. This could be the largest ideological swing in a single Senate race since the Minnesota Coleman / Al Franken shift in 2008. Indeed, tonight's triumph for Johnson might even more pronounced.

It's hard to understate the significance of this win for Wisconsin Republicans, who now have several major victories to celebrate after years of frustration and close calls.
