Behar and Dreyfuss Compare Cheney to Satan, Hitler

Last seen storming off the set of The View after her sensibilities were offended by the empirical fact that all nineteen 9/11 hijackers were Muslims, Joy Behar began to recover from her grievous offense by participating in a far more enlightened discussion with actor Richard Dreyfuss.  The topic? What it's like to depict former Vice President Dick Cheney on the silver screen.  Liberal "civility," on parade (skip ahead to 2:30):

Behar: Where did you find it inside yourself to go down and find that Satanic spot that we all know so well?

(Laughter)

Dreyfuss: First of all, every actor likes to play bad guys, and it just so happens in the last few years I've played all Republican bad guys.  That's just a coincidence.  And to play Dick Cheney, all I had to do was to find my Dick Cheney.  You can find all the villainy in the world in your own heart...Inside [everyone] is Hitler and Jesus, and you've got to find the appropriate person, and bring them out.

The remainder of the clip is painful to watch, as Behar and Dreyfuss attempt to engage in witty banter, managing only to produce, well, banter.  Who was it that decided it would be a brilliant idea to give this woman her own show, again?

CNN, that's who.
