After sitting on the sidelines for months, frontrunner Marco Rubio is hitting Florida's airwaves hard with his first two general election ads. One is a biographical spot that pays tribute to

Rubio's late father. The second focuses on the future, framing runaway spending and national debt as a threat to the future of American generations to come, including Rubio's children.

CNN's Peter Hamby says this ad blanketed Florida media markets throughout last night's NFL telecast.
