If a Leftie drank truth serum, a whole lot of them would tell you that their Bush hatred is rooted in the belief that he stole the election in 2000 against the Goracle.

So, how many lefty Bush haters subscribe to this "stolen election of 2000" doctrine of faith? Ballpark figure: a lot.

That said, here's a trinity of Hardball leftists (Chris Matthews, Howard Fineman, and David Corn) comparing the faith of Birthers to the faith of the "Bush stole the election" crowd of kooks.
