Perez Hilton Says, 'I Do Expect Miss USA To Be Politically Correct.'

"Religious beliefs have no place in politics in the Miss CA family."

~Keith Lewis, Exec Dir Miss CA USA

Ahhhhhh. There is a certain "tingle" one gets when the truth is spoken. Not that I think what Mr. Lewis said is true, but I believe his sentiments are--though I think he stops short of the full truth.

What I see and hear today is a steady drum beat of religious intolerance. The beat sounds something like this: "Your views are fine, just don't think them, or speak them, because if you do--regardless of your behavior towards man--we will destroy you." Perez Hilton--the homosexual blogger/judge for the Miss USA pageant appeared on Larry King last night and validates what I am talking about.

PREZ HILTON: "Honesty is great. However, in an interview this morning, she [Carrie Prejean] said that the audience and the judges expected her to be politically correct. You want to know what? Yes. I do expect Miss USA to be politically correct.

Do we want a Miss USA that's politically insensitive, that's politically offensive? No! So I didn't disagree with her not believing in the right for gays and lesbians to good evening equal under the law. I disagree with how she answered the question because Miss USA should be all inclusive. She should be my Miss USA and when she answered that question that way, it was instantly divisive and alienating to gays and lesbians and friends and supporters."

Perez Hilton demonstrates his "sensitivity" and "all inclusiveness" when he calls Miss Prejean a "dumb b-tch," and a "c-nt" with only "half a brain." Don't think Mr. Hilton is not a softie--he is! Just read what he said at the end of the King interview:

PEREZ: "I would like to invite Miss California out to coffee. That was a sincere invitation and I would like to talk to her because I think that when people don't know gays and lesbians as human beings, it's easier to feel that they shouldn't have equal rights."

Awwwwwwhhh! What a sweetie! Softball Larry responded with an "Awwwwh" too: "That was well said. Thanks, Perez."

UPDATE: TH commenter "RASHUM" writes this: "I am still waiting for someone to ask Perez Hilton 'Do you think it is appropriate for a judge to call one of the contestants a stupid b-tch?'"
