Deal or No Deal?

Politico has reported that Sen. Harry Reid has signed off on a debt deal "pending caucus approval," but as of now, he seems to be the only key player to have made that kind of statement, and there are reports that different caucuses are upset.

However, legislative text has not actually arrived at all Senate offices yet, it seems. At least one Senate office expressed concern that there would not be adequate enough time to analyze any text before senators have to vote on it.

That vote still has the potential, though unlikely, to come Sunday evening, should the final legislative text materialize.
