What is a "Saved Job" and who defines it?

http://www.vanityfair.com/images/politics/2008/03/poar01_obama0803.jpg

Barack Obama
has morphed his rhetoric from just creating jobs to "create or save jobs." Problem is, my friends, how do we count a "saved job?" In essence, with the main stream media's help, we've given The One a "Get out of Jail Free card" because no one can define it.

Imagine Company X announcing they are laying off 100,000 people. Obama swoops in and says "But they were going to lay off 200,000 people - I saved 100,000 jobs." He doesn't have to have any way of proving this, the media isn't going to ask for proof and the economy doesn't improve ... but he's made his quota.

Change we can believe in.
