Benghazi Hearing: Top Officials Caught Off Guard When Asked When Terrorists Will Be Caught

…for seven full seconds, according to ABC News. In other words, the nation’s top security brass looked as though they didn't know how to answer when Rep. Jeff Miller (R-FL) asked them when and if “somebody” would be held responsible for the raid on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya on 9/11/2012.

This doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, now does it? Via TWS:

No doubt this is a question the American public and the families of the fallen have a right to know. When indeed will these terrorists be caught and punished for their crimes?

As ordinary citizens, most of us are not privy to what goes on behind-the-scenes at the FBI, CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency or National Counterterrorism Center. “But the FBI never forgets,” Comey told the committee, referring to those killed in the line of duty. And neither will the American people.

The families of the men killed that night deserve justice and answers. So let’s hope the United States government has their best intelligence officers on this case, ensuring they get both.
