On Thursday, Americans For Prosperity (AFP) held a conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC to announce the release of a $6.1 million ad buy (their largest to date) to raise awareness and hold President Obama accountable for sending billions of taxpayer dollars overseas to fund “green energy” companies. This devastating clip, which will air in eight battleground states, reminds voters that while the $831 billion stimulus package was supposed to create thousands of American jobs at home, at least $34 billion was wasted – from Mexico to China – on risky investments abroad.
“American taxpayers are paying to send their own jobs to foreign countries,” the ad explains. “Tell President Obama American tax dollars should help American taxpayers.”
