White House Reporter Spars With Trump for Holding March Rally, Forgot Who Else Held One

PBS reporter Yamiche Alcindor made another White House coronavirus task force briefing unnecessarily hostile on Monday. She hammered President Trump about the campaign rallies he held in March when we were still learning about the extent of the threat of the coronavirus.

Trump was taken aback by her question.

"I don't know," he said. "Did I hold a rally? I'm sorry I held a rally."

He wasn't the only one holding rallies. What Alcindor failed to note was that presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden also held a rally in March. Ironically, he was joined by Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who is now the author of some of the most draconian COVID-19 related laws in the country.

Let's not forget New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who was encouraging people to go out to the movie theater last month.

Meanwhile, Trump imposed travel restrictions to and from China back in January.
