Jill Biden's Attempt to Campaign For Her Husband Backfires

Campaign trail spouses want to support their husband or wife who's running for higher office, but sometimes they do more harm than good. The latest example of this is Jill Biden's attempt to explain why voters should choose her husband in the 2020 presidential election. She admitted on Monday in front of a group of New Hampshire teachers that some of his opponents may have better ideas, but in the end it's all about electability, and Biden's got it. Meaning, you may have to "swallow a little bit" and vote for him.

Whoa, what a pep rally.

The Republican National Committee commented on how "sad" it is that Biden can't even count on a "clean endorsement" from his own wife.

Meanwhile it didn't escape progressives' notice how "anemic" Mrs. Biden's pitch sounded.

Biden's new campaign new ad "Bones" also emphasizes his electability, beginning with the message, "We have to beat Donald Trump" and flashing several polls on the screen to prove he's the one to do it.

A new poll from CNN gives his argument some credence. He's regained his double-digit lead over the pack.
