Woman Who Worked With Lucy Flores Excoriates Her as a 'Fraud,' Has Current EEOC Complaint Against Her

Lucy Flores became the first woman to accuse former Vice President Joe Biden of sexual assault this week, claiming he got way too close for comfort on the campaign trail when she was running for Nevada lieutenant governor back in 2014. Tezlyn Figaro, who worked with Flores at Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) organization Our Revolution, has similarly felt compelled to speak out on Flores. From what it sounds like, she didn't leave the best impression on her. She explained on "Fox & Friends" why she filed an EEOC complaint against her and why Biden should know his accuser is a "fraud."

“You know, Vice President Joe Biden, if you are listening, you should know that Lucy Flores is a fraud,” Figaro said.

She also called her a racist.

Her current EEOC complaint names Lucy Flores "as someone who was racist who also implemented retaliation," Figaro explained. "She told me that if I didn't do what she told me to, then I would suffer the consequences."

Other Biden supporters may not have had the working relationship Figaro had with Flores, but they too have spoken up in defense of the former VP by noting his personality. "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg, for instance, explained that Biden is just naturally "hands-on" and "overly familiar" with people he interacts with, but is harmless.

A second woman came forward this week claiming Biden had touched her inappropriately, and then two more after that. In a statement responding to the initial allegation from Flores, Biden said it was "never his intention" to make her or anyone else he's met in his years on the campaign trail uncomfortable.

Editor's Note: The original post had Flores running for the LG office in Vermont. It was Nevada. We regret the error.
