John Dowd, President Trump's lead attorney in special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian investigation, has resigned, concluding that his client had repeatedly ignored his advice.
While Dowd had instructed Trump to cooperate with Mueller, the president instead has decried the investigation as a "witch hunt."
A total WITCH HUNT with massive conflicts of interest!

Here's what he meant by "conflicts of interest."
Why does the Mueller team have 13 hardened Democrats, some big Crooked Hillary supporters, and Zero Republicans? Another Dem recently added...does anyone think this is fair? And yet, there is NO COLLUSION!

Still, he told the press that he had no intention of firing Mueller.
Dowd's resignation is not great news for the president, especially if he sits down and interviews with Mueller's team.
"I love the president and wish him well," Dowd wrote to the Washington Post.
