Rumor has it that Hillary Clinton is considering playing a major part in the 2018 midterms. The writers at Vanity Fair are hoping to kill those rumors with a new video urging Clinton to pick a different New Year's resolution - anything.
For starters, why not take up pleasanter hobbies like knitting?

“Take up a new hobby in the new year,” Vanity Fair writer Maya Kosoff suggests in the video. “Volunteer work, knitting, improv comedy? Literally anything that will keep you from running again.”
Other writers suggested harmless hobbies like writing a sequel to "What Happened" and "taking more photos in the woods."
None of which are bad ideas. After all, we are all tired of her blaming everyone and everything for her loss to Donald Trump. First it was FBI Director James Comey, then Russia, then misogyny, then the "bankrupt" Democratic National Committee, then...I don't know what's next, the weather?
To quote the Vanity Fair writers, "It's a year later - it's time to move on."
Of course, the video was in jest. But that didn't stop people from being offended. Some even called the video sexist.
This video is insulting. You should all be embarrassed of yourselves. Telling a woman what to do-specifically a woman of her accomplishments-is sexist and gross. Enjoy the fallout.

Kossof says the video was "taken out of context." She noted that the magazine also published videos with New Year's resolutions for President Trump, asking him to delete his Twitter account and drink more Diet Coke.
Still, catering to the outrage, Vanity Fair is backpedaling on its harmless joke. The editors issued an apology on Wednesday.
It "was an attempt at humor and we regret that it missed the mark," according to a spokesman.
President Trump mocked them for yielding to the PC pressure.
Vanity Fair, which looks like it is on its last legs, is bending over backwards in apologizing for the minor hit they took at Crooked H. Anna Wintour, who was all set to be Amb to Court of St James’s & a big fundraiser for CH, is beside herself in grief & begging for forgiveness!
