Two Women Now Hold Top Leadership Roles at the RNC

A few days after Ronna Romney McDaniel took the reins as the new chair of the Republican National Committee, another woman has been awarded a top leadership role. Sara Armstrong will be the RNC’s new chief of staff, the committee announced on Tuesday. Bob Paduchik, who served as the Ohio State Director for the Trump-Pence presidential campaign, was tapped as co-chair.

Armstrong has a record that makes her highly qualified for the job. She was the vice president of the 2016 Republican National Convention and the RNC's chief operating officer for the 2014 election. Directly before accepting the chief of staff position at the RNC, Armstrong was the chief executive officer of the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee.

“Sara Armstrong’s many years of experience working at the RNC and her deep relationships with Republicans everywhere make her a superb choice to help lead the RNC,” McDaniel said in a statement. “The RNC is completely focused on assisting President Trump and our Republican majorities in Congress deliver the change the American people voted for, and Sara has already proven herself a dedicated supporter of that cause. Sara played key leadership roles at both the Presidential Inaugural Committee and the Republican National Convention this past calendar year, and she will bring her expertise, managerial gifts, and dedication to this Committee.”

Over at the White House, women are likewise dominating the communications team.

What an anti-woman administration!

The fact that women have leading roles in the Trump administration was presumably not a discussion at the Women's Marches across the country over the weekend.
