House Speaker Paul Ryan has invited President Trump to address a joint session of Congress for the first time next month.

The invitation, Ryan said, will give the new president the opportunity to provide his vision for the country and "our shared agenda."
Trump is also expected to join congressional Republicans in Philadelphia later this week for their annual retreat.
