Walter Scott Case Ends in Mistrial

A jury was unable to come to a unanimous verdict in the case of the police shooting death of Walter Scott on Monday, resulting in a mistrial.

Former South Carolina police officer Michael Slager testified that he was in fear for his life when he shot Scott after stopping him. Yet, video footage showed Scott running away from the officer when he shot him in the back. He was fired after the incident.
