Cruz: Hillary “Tosses and Turns” After Tuesday's Results

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke to his supporters in Houston Tuesday night while he and Donald Trump were still locked in a tight race in the Missouri primary. His former presidential rival Carly Fiorina spoke on behalf of Cruz before he hit the stage.

“Hillary tosses and turns,” Cruz said when he took the podium. “Tonight was a good night. Tonight we continue to gain delegates.”

America now has two options for the presidency, he insisted. Only he and Trump have a path to the nomination.

“Starting tomorrow, every Republican has a clear choice,” he said. “Nobody else has any mathematical possibility.”

“Only one campaign has beat Donald Trump over and over again,” Cruz reminded voters.

Nine times in fact – from Alaska to Maine.

Cruz also addressed Sen. Marco Rubio’s exit from the race.

“Marco is a friend,” Cruz said. “Marco’s passion inspires me.”

He then “welcomed” Rubio supporters with open arms.

Cruz told voters why he would be the best conservative alternative to the Republican frontrunner.

“Together, we will make Washington less relevant in all of our lives,” he said.
