An active shooter situation is unfolding in San Diego. Local authorities report that a man with a "long-range rifle" opened fire in the neighborhood of Bankers Hill, before engaging in a standoff with police. Witnesses reported that the gunman's bullets barely missed some of the offices.

Because of the dangerous situation, flights are being diverted from San Diego airport.
