Salon Writer: The US is More Barbaric than ISIS

CJ Werleman, a Salon.com contributor who writes extensively on atheism, made an interesting contrast on Twitter Monday:

Yep, America is more barbaric than the terror group ISIS, according to Werleman. I quickly took a screenshot of the tweet, believing Werleman would surely delete such an insensitive post, but my rushed action was unnecessary. The tweet is still proudly placed on his account for all to see.

Twitter isn't letting him get away with it, though:

Well put. We engage in an act of war, ISIS savagely beheads people - not exactly comparable. We're waiting for your apology tweet, Mr. Werleman.
