Stephen Colbert Said Trump Is Vladimir Putin's "C**k Holster"

On last night's episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Colbert had a rather unusual series of comments on President Trump. After Trump insulted one of Colbert's CBS colleagues, Colbert did a segment where he said things that journalists purportedly would like to tell the president. Among those comments were "You’re the glutton with the button. You’re a regular ‘Gorge Washington,'" and the jaw-dropping "In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s cock holster."

The word "cock" was censored out.

So brave.

I'm just going to take a second to imagine what would happen if these comments were made about Barack Obama...or any Democrat. Or, if anyone made a homophobic joke about literally any other human on this planet.

(...)

Yeah, this wouldn't go over well.

Colbert probably won't face any discipline for this--not that he should, to be frank--but it's hard to fathom that exact sentence being said about anyone on the left by anyone on the right (or, anyone period) and having things go over smoothly. The double standard is quite irritating.
