A growing number of people are pledging to delete the ridesharing app "Uber" from their phones after the company slashed surge pricing during a cabbie strike at JFK in response to President Donald Trump's executive order. The hashtag "#DeleteUber" trended on Twitter as people shared how they too were deleting the app.

Others suggested alternative apps to use, such as Lyft. For the first time ever, Lyft has more downloads than Uber.

This, obviously, is insane. Not every company is going to be #woke 100 percent of the time, and this boycott is kind of absurd. People had to get places, and Uber provided this service. This shouldn't be controversial.
Maybe everyone should just stick to walking or biking everywhere. Or...stay home.
