Obama Asserts That Russians Hacked The DNC

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, President Obama made the claim that it was the Russians who were "responsible for hacking the DNC" in the period before the election.

The president did not, however, claim that Russia hacked the election. He merely states that the source of the various WikiLeaks emails came from a Russian hack. He did not say that Russia actually changed the results of the election.

He also said that he told Russian President Vladimir Putin to "cut it out" back in September.

The WikiLeaks emails were acquired after John Podesta fell for a phishing scheme due to a typo.
