#FreeBrady: Appeals Court Rejects Tom Brady's Appeal and Upholds Suspension

A federal court rejected New England Patriots QB Tom Brady's "deflategate" appeal, meaning that his four-game suspension will stand. Brady is accused of deflating footballs in the first half of a 45-7 rout of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2015 AFC Championship game. The Patriots then went on to win the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks.

Brady was suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for four games as punishment, which was nullified in September 2015. The punishment was reinstated in April. Since this latest appeal has failed, this means that Brady's last resort is to go to the Supreme Court.

While the courts may not be in Brady's favor, he's still got some pretty powerful supporters: both Donald Trump and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker have expressed support to overturn Brady's suspension.
