Tina Fey Returns to SNL to Play Sarah Palin in Sketch

When former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin endorsed Donald Trump last week, many were quick to note that this scenario sounded eerily like a Saturday Night Live sketch.

Last night, their wishes came true as actress Tina Fey reprised her Sarah Palin role in last night's cold opening on SNL. In the sketch, Fey was joined by Darrell Hammond as Trump as the sketch mocked Palin's sometimes-bizarre language in her endorsement speech.

It was announced during the episode that comedian Larry David would be hosting the Feb. 6 episode of SNL. David garnered praise earlier this season for his dead-on impersonation of Democratic candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
