Remember how brilliantly Jim Treacher handled the Obama campaign's serious effort to demonize Mitt Romney on canine issues?  Not only did he point out that

Obama himself ate dogs, he unleashed a stream of absolutely hilarious jokes about it -- and the dog issue was laughed into oblivion, aggregated at #ObamaDogRecipes.

Harry Reid's irresponsible allegations about Mitt Romney's taxes (shown up for their absurdity by Jim Geraghty here) deserve the same treatment.  Aren't there some clearly false, utterly ridiculous "rumors" about Reid -- like, "Now, I don't know this for a fact, but a Senate staffer told me that Majority Leader Reid had actually tried to pass a budget since 2009!"?

OK, this kind of humor isn't my line, but I know you funny people are out there . . .
