June 6 couldn't pass without recalling the brave men who saved the world and, with almost unimaginable courage, scaled the cliffs at Normandy 68 years ago today.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, albeit less eloquently than President Ronald Reagan did, when he commemorated the fortieth anniversary of D-Day in 1984.

We will always remember, and we will always be grateful.
