The "Hear No Evil" President

President Obama is banning even his supporters from having their cell phones when he speaks to them at fundraisers -- including those who have paid more than $35,000 to be there.

The reason for the ban is obvious.  The biggest gaffe -- bar none -- of the 2008 election was when, at a fundraiser, an attendee recorded the statement in which the President let slip his contempt for regular Americans:

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Obviously, the President doesn't want any of that this time (and just imagine how much bitterer the "bitter clingers" must be after four years of Obamanomics).  But the question lingers: What is he saying to his big-dollar donors in private that he's afraid we're going to hear?
