Here's an interesting idea: A Mitt Romney/Rick Perry ticket -- or vice versa.

Obviously, it's too early in the election season to come to any definitive conclusions -- especially before we've seen both men more on the stump.  What's more, Michele Bachmann would also bring strengths, especially partnered with Mitt Romney.

Nonetheless, the aforementioned combo would have the virtues of uniting the GOP, and providing ideological and geographic balance to the ticket.
