Credit Where It's Due

Earlier today, I wondered what the Democrats planned to do about the Anthony Weiner affair.

Apparently, Nancy Pelosi is calling for an Ethics Committee investigation.

Granted, such an investigation both postpones the day of reckoning -- and gives nervous Democrats a pretext for refusing to answer any questions or discuss the matter any further. And granted, Republicans simply called for their own fellow Republican's resignation when he was caught sending shirtless photos -- without needing an Ethics Committee investigation to help them make up their minds about the matter.

But it's something, at least.
