Not a Good Sign

If you thought the meme of White House ineptitude in handling the Egyptian crisis was overblown, this story --highlighting the press' complaints about being kept in the dark by the Obama administration

-- should make you think again.

If the President had any policy at all, or even any positive spin about the events and his participation in them, one doubts there would be such a complete lock-down on any information.

And, although the game is old by now, imagine the screams of outrage had President Bush ever stiff-armed the press like this.
