The numbers in Illinois look encouraging -- bearing in mind that Chicago and the cities come in first, and now Kirk is already ahead by two.  I think Toomey's going to come through in Pennsylvania.

As for California . . . . sigh.  If everybody out here will vote in Jerry Brown and Barbara "Ma'am" Boxer, what hope is there for us?  If two well-funded Republican candidates couldn't win this year, we're doomed.
