Democrats are closely divided (51% to 47%) over whether another Democrat (presumably Hillary Clinton) should challenge President Obama for 2012.

At the same time, given that Bill Clinton's role in trying to get Kendrick Meek out of the Senate race is likely to cost Meek votes (and irritate some black voters), one wonders whether a Clinton/Obama rematch would achieve anything but splitting the party, especially on racial lines.
There's a lot of time 'til '12, but the fault lines (in both sense of the term) are beginning to be drawn. And with Obama's poor performance and Bill Clinton's interference in a Senate race at the expense of an African American candidate, it looks like there will be plenty of blame to go around.
