The Ads Write Themselves

"Let's start over and do it right.  Health care legislation should be about improving our health care system for all Americans, not 'spreading the wealth around.'"

That should be one of the primary themes of the Republicans' campaigns this autumn.  Byron York has helpfully amassed a list of prominent Democrats justifying the passage of the health care overhaul (no way is this thing "reform"!) on the basis of its redistributive properties.

Let's hope some enterprising ad-makers have caught these statements on tape.

The American people need to know how well President Obama is living up to his promise to "spread the wealth around" -- even as he's let numerous other commitments fall by the wayside.

The ads write themselves, don't they?
