Of course, it's not essential that the word "Christmas" appears on the card. But eliminating all traces of any religion from it springs from some politically correct but perhaps misplaced assumptions. What' s more, when America's leader makes a conscious decision to transform the Christmas season into nothing but a great big "happy holidays" opportunity -- thereby swapping religiosity for some undefined civic "faith" -- it's bad for the country.
