The Murder of George Tiller

The remarks posted by Greg immediately below are, indeed, chilling.  They highlight the fact that for at least some (not, all, some) "pro-choicers," abortion isn't just a necessary evil -- it's seen as a positive good.

All that being said, it's important for those of us on the pro-life side to be perfectly clear: The murder of George Tiller was wrong, and the murderer deserves to be punished.  You cannot defend life by unlawfully taking life -- even a life as depraved as Tiller's (who once admitted to having performed 60,000 abortions and professed a particular interest in "the late termination of pregnancy").

Murder is wrong -- whoever the victim is.
