President Obama's Climate Gun

Here is a story about all the experimental technologies President Obama is hoping to employ in the crusade against global warming.

Note how respectfully the idea about "shooting pollution particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect the sun's rays" is treated in the story -- and then contrast it with the press ridicule that President Reagan's introduction of SDI elicited.

Then consider that just the threatened development of SDI was enough to convince the Soviets to bargain away their nuclear stockpile. It will be interesting to see whether President Obama's spending on a "Climate Gun" or some such will yield such a generous dividend.
