Fly the Frugal Skies

Barack Obama and John Kerry are very, very worried about the "aviation expenditures" of companies receiving taxpayer money under TARP.

Well, good for them (and special kudos to Kerry; after all, not every man is fortunate enough to marry a woman who can provide him with a private jet).

But if Obama, Kerry et al. are truly interested in wasteful aviation costs being subsidized by tax money, they'll also look into credible allegations that Nancy Pelosi is seeking to use the military as her "personal airline."

We should all be supportive of the princple that tax money be spent with extreme care.  And those in government should be particularly mindful that behavior that's wrong for corporate masters of the universe should also be considered wrong for our government overlords.
