Arrests and Vandalism During 'F*** the Police' Protest in NYC

Far-left demonstrators gathered at Grand Central Station in New York City on Friday night in an event dubbed the "F**k the Police" protest. The agitators were demanding the removal of police officers from the New York City transit system and the abolition of the $2.75 transportation fare. Police made multiple arrests as Antifa and so-called "decolonization" activists hurled obscenities and denounced the police as "racists." Journalist Andy Ngo captured some of the crazier moments of the protest and the vandalism perpetrated by the far-left radicals.

At a similar demonstration in Nov. 2019, Rep. Alexander Ocasio-Cortez tweeted her support of the protesters. But if anything, vandalizing the subway only strengthens the case for additional police presence. It also makes the case for a fare increase in order to clean up after these deranged lunatics. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority estimates that fare evaders cost the city $260 million in 2019.
