One of the dumbest decisions to come out of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic was the idea that skate parks should be filled with sand as a way of enforcing California Gov. Gavin Newsom's (D) stay-at-home order. The idea was that kids would be forced to stay home if their skating area was filled to the brim with sand, especially at skate parks along the beach.
Skaters finally had enough and decided to take matters into their own hands. The government may have filled their parks up with sand, but they would work together to get it back in tip top shape.
California skaters are taking back the skate parks that Newsom filled with sand.
