Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department confirmed UM's statement.
There does not appear to be an active threat at UofM at this time. Reports of shots fired on campus are unfounded at this time. UofM DPSS continues to investigate and asks that you stay clear of the area.

The University of Michigan has sent out a text alert to students telling them that there is an active shooter on campus in Mason Hall. They have advised students to "run, hide, fight."
