Democrats made a big show of it when Kamala Harris told Vice President Mike Pence, "I'm speaking." It was their Slay, Queen moment, and one that other Democrats have tried — and failed — to replicate in the intervening years.
But Democrats only play the girlboss card against the men who are most tolerant of them, of the ones who created a nation in which they can work, vote, get an education, and live freely. They do not use that attitude against the Islamist invaders they've welcomed with open arms.
Just watch how, despite her pandering, the male-only crowd treats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Islam does not respect women. We are treated like slaves, chattel, and property to be sold, abused, and disposed of at the whim and will of violent men.
Where are the Democrats calling out this behavior? I don't carry any water for AOC, but why aren't her colleagues being as vocal about this as they would have been had a Republican spoken to her in a way they didn't like? Why aren't Democrats demanding women have access to these spaces, as they did and do with other male-dominated STEM fields? The silence is deafening.
For people who scream about toxic masculinity, the threat of the patriarchy, and the need to uplift women into positions of power, Democrats seem perfectly content to sacrifice the rights of women to these misogynistic, backward men. In the U.K. and other parts of Europe, Islamists rape women and defend it by dismissing the women as whores and infidels. In Germany, an imam said they will one day impose Sharia law and stone adulterous women, and here I'll remind the Left yet again that a woman who is raped is considered not a victim, but an adulterer who can and will be stoned.

It is not a good look, but it is the path Democrats are choosing. Why? Their love of intersectionality, their warped view that Western civilization must somehow atone for what they perceive as the ills of the past, and their desperate desire to destroy America and Christianity.
I've long believed Democrats are aligning themselves with Islam because 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend.' Islamists will push Christianity from the public sphere and undermine Western culture, or at least that's what the Left hopes. The Left then naively assumes they'll get to run a society with LGBTQ rights, women's equality, and the socialist welfare utopia they've long envisioned but haven't been able to execute yet.
Good luck.
They won't even give AOC attention while she's speaking to them. Eventually, they'll go the route of Afghanistan, where women aren't allowed to make noise in public at all. And Democrats, instead of fighting back, will roll over, don the burqa, and accuse anyone who doesn't acquiesce of being 'Islamophobic.'
That's a far cry from 'I'm speaking,' and if Democrats or, more importantly, their voters, don't see this event for what it is — a taste of what life will be like for women under Islamic rule — we're in deep trouble.
