When It Comes to Trans Athletes, the Left Is No Longer Defying Reality

When It Comes to Trans Athletes, the Left Is No Longer Defying Reality

There are a great many things wrong with the trans activist movement. The worst, of course, is the push to "transition" and "affirm" children and teens. It is dangerous, unhealthy, and harmful -- both physically and mentally.

We cannot ignore the inherent unfairness of the Left's push for "inclusivity" of "trans athletes" in sports. It's always men who "identify" as women seeking to invade women's sports -- we have never heard of a "trans-identifying" woman attempting to compete against men.

Why? Because those women do not stand a chance against men. Men have physical traits that make them stronger, faster, and better equipped for athletics. They have more speed, strength, and agility than women.

Society acknowledged these biological differences for thousands of years. Feminists fought, and seemingly had won, the right for women to have their own sporting competitions and legal protections (e.g. Title IX) because of the biological differences between the sexes.

All of that has been damaged by the Left's love of the trans agenda.

The problem is, the Left has been waging a war against reality. It was a war they were bound to lose eventually and -- deep down -- they knew it.

That's why they worked tirelessly to erase even the mention of the word "woman" from our lexicon. "Woman," which has always meant an "adult human female," was replaced with "birthing person," "womb owner," "egg producer," and "non-transgender women." They also usurped pregnancy and childbirth, calling us "inseminated persons" and "pregnant people."

Activists also accused lesbians and others who wouldn't date trans individuals of being "transphobic," "bigoted," and "unfair."

It is all projection, of course. It is the pro-trans Left who are inherently bigoted and unfair. Towards women.

But as mentioned, reality was bound to win and -- slowly -- the trans-activist Left is admitting what the rest of us knew all along: men and women are different, and it's inherently unfair to make women compete against men simply because those men identify as women.

The entire post reads:

Every decision you make comes with trade-offs. If you’re male, you need to understand that transitioning means you will no longer be competitive in your sport against other males. If staying competitive is extremely important to you, you can choose not to transition.  Welcome to reality.

This is something even the most diehard Leftist grudgingly admits. Betty Yee, who is running for California governor, admitted there are biological differences between men and women even as she pushed for a "gender neutral" 2028 Olympic Games.

Piers Morgan easily poked holes in her logic while Yee insisted she was just concerned about "fairness" and inclusivity. Yet the notion that it's fair to let men compete against women simply because they say they're men is fundamentally flawed.

Those men couldn't compete with other men, so they changed genders to give them an advantage over women. It's cheating, and it's as cynical as it is apparent.

William ("Lia") Thomas swam with men. When he did so, he was ranked 554th in the 200-yard freestyle and 65th in the 500-yard freestyle. When Thomas swam with women, he ranked fifth in the women's 200 freestyle, first in the women's 500 freestyle, and eighth in the women's 1,650 freestyle.

There's a clear difference there.

Time and again, the Left sneers at the women who complain and tells them to "train harder" -- yet they never tell men like William Thomas to "train harder" to compete with his fellow men.

The double standard is galling and telling.

Fortunately, reality is winning out. Just as it always would.
