Media Men on Palin

I'd like our readers to watch this clip and write in the comments if you think Chris Matthews is slamming Sarah Palin here or not. In the clip below he's talking about the possibility of the Governor landing a book deal. "If she can read and if she can write, she's going to make some money" he said.

"The only politician I know who can write is Barack Obama," Matthews concludes.

What do you think about this? Seems like he couched his statements just enough to keep himself safe, but still sounds a touch condescending to me.

Oh, and did you see this clip of Glenn Beck calling Palin a "hot grandma"? That happens at 1:00 into the clip. I think Palin handles the awkward compliment rather well and Beck ended up doing a fine interview But, is this appropriate? She's a GOVERNOR, not a beauty pageant contestant!
