Pelosi: Prop 8 Supporters Confused

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi thinks the people who voted to support marriage in her state didn't really know what they were doing. She thinks they just didn't understand what Proposition 8 was all about.

She told the San Francisco Chronicle: “Unfortunately, I think people thought they were making a statement about what their view of same-sex marriage was. I don’t know if it was clear that this meant that we are amending the Constitution to diminish freedom in our state.”
