Obama's ACORN Lie

Tonight Barack Obama said :"The only involvement I've had with ACORN is, I represented them alongside the US justice department in making Illinois implement a motor voter law that helped people get registered at DMVs.”

This is a lie. Obama led training sessions for ACORN in 1992, represented in that suit in 1995, routed them money as a well-connected board member and Illinois State Senator, sought their PAC's political endorsement for president, won it, told them they would have a role shaping policy in his administration and then became the first-ever national candidate to paid ACORN for get-out-the vote activities.
